Pokemon Go Update Brings No New Features
The new update on Pokemon Go does not bring any new features.
In a report, the update is said to zero-in on smaller items on these two areas:
1. Evolution Item for “First PokeStop of the Day”
The players would now be receiving a random evolution item after completion of the seven-day challenge, “First PokeStop of the Day”. Players traditionally received 2,500 XP alongside other items for the Photo Disc upon a visit of seven days straight at a PokeStop.
2. Minor Text Fixes
While the specifics are yet to be disclosed, the update allows Pokemon Go to show up as version 0.59.1 on Android OS and 1.29.1 on iOS.
Apart from these, Niantic Labs had also announced that apart from more legendary creatures gracing the AR game this 2017, a trading feature that had created buzz within the community will finally be made functional.
Tatsuo Nomura, production manager to Ninatic Labs stated in an interview that trading would be done upon close, physical proximity of players, not online.
