EA’s “Anthem” Takes Cues from Activision’s “Destiny”
BioWare’s “Anthem” boasts of really awesome features. From jetpacks to exo-suits, this science fiction, action game has everything that you could possibly imagine and wish for in the genre.
Conceptualized by “Mass Effect” executive producer, Casey Hudson, “Anthem” was said to bear the project name, “Dylan” as the producer wanted it to be the, “. . .Bob Dylan of video games.”
Referred to as “stunning” by the EA CEO himself, Andrew Wilson, the game is seen as an answer to Activision’s online-only multiplayer first-person shooter video game, “Destiny”. Released back in September 19th, 2014 for PlayStations 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, is characterized as a “shared world shooter”.
In a statement, Wilson added that the game is built around a live service. EA decided to add further on the disruptive new social designs. As such, the CEO disclosed that the release for it would be moved to 2019.
