Announced “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” Launches Speculations; Stirs and Tips the Balance of the Force
Actor extraordinaire, Mark Hamill, known for his amazing vocal talent as the Joker in the DC animated movies and – of course – his role as Luke Skywalker, caused quite a stir in Twitter.
Made after the production for Star Wars Episode VIII wrapped up, fans all over speculated that he won’t be back for the franchise’s next installments. And for good reason as he had said he’d be “out of work” after Episode VIII, launching chagrin, disappointment and needless grief from overly-emotional fans.
Hamill, again, took to Twitter to clear things up, stating through a hashtag that fans should stop overthinking.

The announced title brings pleasant speculations to fans as it brings numerous possibilities.
With fan theories rife and the discussions across fan communities and networks rich, “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” brings to light possible familial connections between Luke and Rey whose character we saw flourish in “Star Wars: Rogue One”. Would the next film aim to enlighten fans of their true relations? That we have yet to find out.
But of course, stating what is already obvious, the question everyone should and would be asking is “Who is the last Jedi?” Could it be Rey or would it be Luke? In a reported statement, Hamill had claimed that upon reading the script, the title might well be a misdirect. A Skywalker had indeed been mentioned in the manuscript, but as to whom exactly, it had not been made clear.
Lucas’ universe has been rattling cages since the revitalization of the franchise from the previous trilogy that churned out various unforgetable disappointments.
The recent successes of the previous Star Wars movies spell good prospects for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”. We are definitely hoping that this latest addition to the mythos would serve the Star Wars universe well.
